Awesome looking scoop on the top one.

 Doubt it does anything except increase frontal area, though.
5 mph in pit area (clothed)

The scoop and plenum were a make-busy project for an aging chassis/tin-man who thinks an English wheel is someone like Michael Redgrave or Tony Blair.

Actually it was an attempt to level the playing field with the 32's in the Street Roadster classes.  The added frontal area puts them on an equal basis leading to a proposed rule change to bring the Model A's in line.  You ought to see how much you got to add to the Model T's!

No, it may be sturdy but it's not that fast.

They did not invite fotogs to that part of the event. In fact, they were very vocal in their displeasure that I even made it to

the scene of the recovery.

They didn't even let all of their crew attend the load up.
