Vance Breeze's Sportster   199.954 MPH in 1995. Blew it up looking for that extra 0.046 MPH to get 200.

XR 1000 is a street lega Sportster model, is it not? It has charging sytem in it from the factory.

I cant see the forks in the pic.

I think Breese may have run Sputhe topends.

Doesn't this bike still run? I have pictures of those forks, they are very neat! I took this pic in 06.

Is that Mikey and Terri's "Yankee Enginuity" bike?  If so the forks are made from airplane wing struts.

They, and Duncan, were the first people I met in '07.  Couldn't be any nicer people!  (Cept maybe you and Michelle, Willie and Sheri, Shane and Krystal, Scott and Paula, etc. etc. etc.

These are Sputhe engines.  Breese ran one circa 1980, XR1300

I remember that cover bike, cool piece.
You can always tell a Sputhe, cuz the pushrods go thru the fins.

Them XRs, Sputhes, and Thunderheads, make cool looking motors..
