Joe Laws lakester.

Front suspension

I believe this is the 77 roadster

Group picture

I know this is El Mirage, but this is the only photo that I have of Kurt and Bob Giovanni.  Bob won the SCTA points championship back in I believe 1948.  Bob ashes were deployed at El Mirage through our parachute and Carlsons parachute.  RIP Bob.

And the Rasberry Rocket.  Ok time to go work.

These are slightly off the mark. They aren't from Bonneville but recently someone wanted info about a front mount blower system.I didn't find that thread so I will post it here. This is the Mooneyes dragster from the Bakersfield March Meet. It's  a Potvin drive and this setup was done years ago. Fred Larsen probably arranged it. It's similar to the way the blower was on his streamliner.

How bout a Stude?  This was Ed and Arley Langlo's 53.  Ed's car and Arley's engine I believe.

How about a modified roadster.  This was our first year on the salt, helping Fred out.

Patty told me, "Freud, we got a dry sump." That started their success.

All those one way 300 MPH passes were behind them. They did a 2 way, record and hat.

Now he runs over 360 and came close to being the top time of the meet last year.

Freddies quote at Gas Up, "h e l l, girls go 300."

Freddie ALWAYS goes for it. Some OLD MEN RULE.

You are right. I am wrong. It wasn't the 300, it was just getting a record. They made so many runs and would fail on the return.

Thanks for slapping some sense into my CRS attitude.

This was early on in the life of Peterson and Sprenger. Marty West was the last to drive it.
