I have fotos fo Bill WIrges triple 750 Kaw's in his streamliner. That too was a long time ago and was shot at B'ville.

I'd have to search for them, though.

Jon Minonno is a truly great motorcycle rider. Dirt track, multi time drag racing champion, won 7  WERA National titles, first person over 250 mph on a open cockpit motorcycle and still going strong. 
Here are photos from 1972 First one is Jack Wilson working on the turbo Trident, second is Jon with Jack and his son Gary.

One year, Jack was all loaded. He saw me and asked if I would do a team foto. He unloaded, I did the fotos and sent them to him.

Champion SPark Plug used it for and advertisement and refused to pay me because they didn't get the shot from me.

Their advertising agency screwed me out of good money.

Oh well, I failed to copyright it before I sent it to Jack. I've learned since then.

Now my lawyer is cocked and ready to shoot if that happens again. My cover shot from the December 1969 CYCLE Magazine is ready to

sell and it is protected.

After looking at those great photos taken by Dr. Freud of the Chrisman Bros. coupe, I was trying to remember names and faces. I remember, Art Chrisman, I think Jack Chrisman was his uncle, But I am drawing a blank on the brothers name, and who was Duncan?  Anyone know?? Thanks Mike R.

Lloyd was Art's brother. Harry Duncan was a contractor and and racer. He ran a coupe and had engines in others cars. The Duncan Built Homes coupe kicked a lot of butts. I was at Art's shop a few weeks ago and we had a great talk about the old days of drag racing. BTW, he still looks about 35 years old.

This coupe represents what a couple of racers can accomplish on their own without big corporations footing the bill ... It is beautiful and functional ... really a class piece.

 Thank you Glen, for the information.. I kinda thought that it might be you who could answer my question. Have you ever considered putting your recollections of Bonneville and El Mirage down on paper so that we who are interested now, and for future generations might be better informed as to the LSR history. Nothing like getting the scoop from a guy who saw most if not all from the 50s on... Mike R.
