Trying to figure out pics I hadn't posted.
1.  I think this had an outboard motor, on it's side, chain driven to the rear wheel....anybody know?
2.  I don't know this coupe.  My bike running unstreamlined barely visible in back....only pic of it that way, that year (and only half shows).
3. On the motorcycle line (left side of the course).  Always good to let your pit crew warm it up for you....you can blame whatever goes wrong on whatever they did!
4. Who's kids are these and what are they doing now?  We sure were informal about pitbikes, in those days.  Notice the tire collection in the back of the El Camino....one road warrior, one Class C Universal, and an iffy front rib.  Probably all tube type, to boot.

A few more pics
1. At the fine vacation lodging.... upstairs rooms meant you couldn't get your bike inside to work on it.
2. Norton Commando
3. Bud's center steering bike leaving the line, looking for the unstreamlined record and more Triumph money.
4. Webco 350 kitted Super Hawk ran about 100 or a little over.  The reversed headlight put it into PS.  Notice the mainstand lying on the ground... what a pain to get off of those old Hondas, with the rusted cotter pin on both ends of the galvanized tube.  Sidestands were still ok, but unwired drain plugs weren't (as I recall, Hawks didn't have a sidestand...just the mainstand...my CB160 was the same way).

The yellow Flathead is Dave McCain & Ed Houtz.

Found another slide in a different box.  It's 1969 but I don't know the bike.

That Bike is Don Vesco's with the twin 350 Yamahas, went 250 and shredded a tire.  Cool, that is history for sure! :-D

Not good enough, Lynda.  There are no fabric stores within a few hundred miles - except Wal-Mart's, and they're closing their fabric departments here and nationwide.  And such fancy fabric wouldn't be at just any ol' store, no doubt.  Gotta keep shopping.

Hey, there's hope.  Didja ever see the shirts that Robbie Cohn wears at the 2 Club banquet each year?  Great stuff -- like some of the fabric shown on the link.  One of these days I'll show you a photo of my pink house pants -- pink, with purple froggies sitting on green lily pads.  The Maxton crowd has already seen 'em -- maybe Bville folks will get to see 'em in '10.  Wow.

Back to old Bonneville photos now.
