NO, not at all, Gary -- have at it.  I'd be willing to show you how to put them all on a photo sharing site (like Photobucket) and then just copy the Photobucket file names (a couple of clicks does it for each photo) onto a post.  You could have a dozen or more on each post if you do it that way.  In the meantime -- thanks for the photos.  I see Skip Higginbotham is over on the land-speed list asking about photos - and someone tried to steer him over here to see your stuff.  It's fun - what with photos of the water so deep that there were waves on it.

Thanks, and don't stop -- it's finie.

Here is a pic of Ermie's last turbine car that the Fergusons now have. As all of Ermie's cars were, beautiful!

The picture with the picnic table and the Avanti is before the freeway was built.  Imagine if all of the traffic we now have on the interstate was on the original highway.  it would be a mess.

The EELCO liner in the photo is not the one in the Stateline Casino.  That car, the Wee Wee Eel, is much smaller and the exterior was restored by the USFRA.  This car in the photo is in the Speedway Motors, Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, NE. and you can google the site for hundreds of great photos of the collection.

anyone have any info on this :?

Yes I do Gary, The car entry is Higginbotham-London-Auld, class is E/S. Engine is 120CI Chevy II, turbo'd. My first attempt at turbos.....HHMMM! Had the same troubles with it as I did with my current car. Getting the fuel to match up with the boost. It did set a record....not a fast one but a record nonetheless.
It ran again in '64. If anyone wants to know more about it please send a note and I'll fill in details. It was a rather unique car. Thanks for the info Jim!
