Jerry, I'm resisting the 20 or so replies and questions I started typing...
Dumped the oil, pulled the pan and found a great spot on the block for the turbo return. I tapped the block 3/4 16, installed a bulkhead fitting as snug as I dared with a sealing washer, then put another sealing washer on the inside, installed a metal washer and nut... tightened then added a backup nut to keep everything tight. Threw the pan back on... yes that's a pan I modified when we put the 1 liter in BJ's pickup, and then figured out that the crossmember forced me back to a stock pan. Yes I remember it being very hard to clean and weld a used aluminum oil pan to 6061. I'm still thinking about making a deeper one... but this should have enough capacity.
Popped the motor into the car.... need to fit up the electrical, exhaust, fuel and cooling, then program the MoTec for it.
Did I mention how much I love that removable frame rail... made it easy for a 1 person motor install.
