Haha!

Gotta be a 'here's your sign' moment!

Thanks!

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

Hmmm you will have these next month right? I can't afford anything right now. I know 20 dollars doesn't sound like much but I am moving in two weeks and need to make sure I have every penny just in case one of the four vehicles doesn't make is safely. I will order mine next month when I do my membership thing. I don't mean to be a booger in all this, just wondering if these will still be available next month :(

First of all, yes -- the Paypal button is on the various pages of landracing.com.  And yes, I expect we'll have some left for later than right now -- especially since we'll have the art saved in a folder at the laser store and can always make more.

We've made about 75 or so -- so far, using not only black that engraves silver, but silver that engraves black, and some grey that engraves black -- whatever we've got in the shop 'til our order arrives later this week.

I'm in for a couple.

Slim- Once you all have the logistics worked out on Paying, Shipping etc, please post up a clear notice.
The thread has gotten a little confusing, at least for those of us with little brains like me.

Well, I'm waiting for Don (salt27) to get on here to announce what he's planning.  He said he'd take charge of the shipping and receiving orders and so on.  I hope he doesn't get scared off when he sees how many there are.

In the meantime -- we've (Nancy and I) already received a few Paypal payments.  They are being sent to the landracing.com Paypal account, which is at the PP buttons here and there on the landracing.com website.  That IS the PP account to use.  Further -- stipulate that the remittance is a "GIFT" so they won't assess the usual 3% or so charge for the service.

When you order them by Paypal you've got a space on their form to say what the money is for, and also to give us a mailing address, which we'll use if we get it.  If you'd rather just donate and not get a badge -- don't give us an address, but your name would be nice.  We need name and address to mail 'em, though.

Put your orders together, send them to Paypal, and you'll get your badges as quick as we can make them.  The new batch of material will arrive here tomorrow.  First we'll make a bunch for the SCTA banquet and get them shipped to arrive in time for Saturday, and then we'll start filling the orders from Paypal.  We should have them all done by early next week.

The pins are $20 each.  If you want to put in a buck for postage, go ahead - but a couple of pins in an envelope oughta be no more than a buck or so.  The Gear Grinders secretary, Heather, is emailing notes to the membership right now telling them of the badges.  I hope to be able to have a batch of 150 or more at the SCTA banquet this weekend, so if you're going, maybe you can get your pin and help Sheri while you're there.

I'm Don Jackson {salt27] Jon's partner in the Willie badges.
I will be taking the mail orders and doing the shipping.
The badges are $20 each [cash, check or money order], the net procedes will be sent to Sheri.
I do not have the badges yet [The first batch is going to the SCTA banquet], but will ship as soon as I get them.

Don,

Depending on what sells at the Banquet and what we have left for the 160 Gear grinder members, Heather should take some for them (GG members) that cannot make it to the Banquet..?

Looking forward to this Saturday..

Hope to see a good turn out and support for Sheri..

John,
Thank you for stepping up to help on this.
At Salt Talks about 3 years ago, my son Gus helped you with the raffle.
Time does fly.

Thanks again, Don

Don,

Thanks I remember him, he was a great kid and I am sure he is growing in to be coming a great man..

Sheri and Willie were not the fastest, not the slowest however they epitomized grass roots LSR and what it is all about, Michelle and I have seen them take in stray racers and spectators with food, shelter and a great LSR fan/racer experience.

I hope we see Sheri, Francine, Paco, Madeline at El Mirage in May..

John
