Sheri,

Thanks for the update. You know we all love you and Willie. Please give him a hug from his LSR friends. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Test results of the pet scan came back. Good news.  The cancer has not spread beyond the throat area. Now we are waiting on the surgeon to call tomorrow afternoon to hopefully tell us that they will do the surgery. I will keep you posted. Thanks again, to our LSR family and friends....

I'm a little tired, but with the help of family and friends, I'm managing. Gotta do what you gotta do. Eric Ross flew out yesterday and has managed to get some smiles out of Willie. He has a little more pain these days, so I am a little worried about him. But all in all, the way I'm doing has no comparison on how Willie is. He's a trooper. And I have to admit, he is in a little better shape than I am.
Thanks for asking, Crow. Missed you all tonight on Chat. Didn't make it on time.

Well, Willie has to be at UCSF on Tuesday morning at 6:00am. They will be doing exploratory surgery to figure out the extent of the cancer.  Should be out of there around 1:00pm and then home. Hopefully we will find out when his surgery will take place before we leave. He is now up to 138, which means he has gained 14 pounds since he's been home from the hospital. He is still having more pain than usual, and his throat seems to have some major swelling the past couple of days. He has an appointment in the morning with his oncologist, so I'm hoping they can give him something stronger for pain and check on the swelling. His spirit seems a little down today, but the weather being cold and gloomy may be part of the reason. Things seem to be moving now with the doctors so we are hoping to get this done already. His Doctor says that he would like to get him in before the Christmas holiday. But if not before, right after New Years will have to do. I will let you all know as soon as we find out. I want to Thank Everyone again for your continued support and well wishes.
