They won't cost us much to make - less than a buck each (surprisingly, the attaching thingie, be it stick pin or magnet, is about half the cost).

I'll be back later with more.

PS (added a few minutes later): The engraving will also include his year of birth and his passing (1945, in case you were wondering).

Jon,

Since the cost to make them is so low (under a buck) please make 100 of them and I will send you 100 dollars plus shipping for them and Heather can then deal with the sales of them..I am still in it for one for the 20 bucks..

Thoughts?

Sheri..we are so sorry for your loss..Willie was a great guy and always treated us great..I will miss the banter back and forth about the sidecars and other racing BS.    Michelle and I will miss Willie and we hope to see Sheri at El Mirage and will help her as needed between our racing.

Sheri..We are sorry for your loss and hope to see you, Francine, Paco and Madeline soon..

John, Michelle and the Moreland crew...

Jon. W

Please send 100 pins to me at 6432 Larchwood Drive HB. CA. 92647

All proceeds will go to Sheri and the Buchta family...these will be distributed/sold at the SCTA awards banquet for Sheri.  I will spend the 100 dollars and match it towards Landracing.com

Jon, I don't think 100 pins will be enough.

Over the weekend we ordered more of the blank stock for the pins.  We'll be getting it tomorrow or Wednesday, which won't leave much time for getting a bunch done and to the SCTA banquet in time -- but we'll try.  This oreder should be enought for another 150 pins -- we'll have about 30 - 50 done by tomorrow quitting time.  I'm also going to make some up in (kinda shiny) silver that engraves black.  I should be able to get about 45-50 of those done by the end of the day today - and ship the whole batch priority tomorrow morning, getting them to Noonan's house by Friday.  I can make more once we get that shipment in - might still be in time to arrive Saturday AM.

Jon and John,

You may want to post how to order them, for those of us unable to attend the SCTA banquet. :-D

I'm working with Don Jackson (salt27) to receive and ship the orders, 'cause I might have to go out of town unexpectedly later this week or next - and don't want to slow things too much.  Don is doing a one-day job right now but should be back here later on to tell you the straight scoop.

We'll use the landracing.com Paypal, unless he comes up with a better idea, and accept the minor cost in exchange for quick and easy.

As for what John Noonan has in mind -- he'll be back here later, I presume, and can tell his ideas.

Thanks!

So, is it safe to go ahead and order, or should we wait for Don to weigh in on this?

Jon,

Since Heather is the Secretary for the GG she can sell them to the members and then forward the money to Sheri.

If anyone sends a PayPal payment please note that the money is a gift, that way the full amount will be transferred and nothing will come out for the the PayPal fees (3+%)

If anything else is needed please let me know..this is for a great cause and a big thanks to Jon W. for getting it going.

Jon, do you want me to send the PayPal now for the material?

If 150 are sold at $ 20.00 each that would net out $3000.00 which I am sure would be greatly appreciated and would help at this time.

All right, I need a little help I guess.

Paypal does not recognize landracing.com

Do I use the email address in SSS's profile, or am I missing something here?

Dang noobs anyways! :-D
