Sheri, we're all there with you. Stay strong. Willie will need all the help you can give as he recovers.

We are at UCSF. Willie went in to surgery at 7:45. This will be a lot longer than we expected. Originally we were told about 6 hours, but when they checked him in they told us not to expect him out of surgery till about 6:30/7:00 pm. We will be getting updates throughout the day. So I will keep you informed as they inform me.

Talked with the nurse at about 10:15 and she said that they were just getting started. Lots of work ahead. She will call when they have more to report. So for now that's all I have.

Nothing like a play by play report....

Sheri, maybe Nancy and I should be there to provide the "coverage" like we do at the Shootout.

Seriously -- I have a good idea of the personal trials you're enduring while Willie is in the surgical suite, and when you think of being stir crazy - just drop all of us another post on the Forum.  It'll give you a break from reading and drinking coffee - and it'll help us keep Willie right on top of our thoughts and hopes and good wishes, too.

The best for you two -- from Nancy and me.

Hi Sheri,
I've not posted on this before, but have watched from afar.

Think positive, and take strength from all of us.

I hope all goes well, and we can hear the very best of news.
