And I am much happier running audio than hitting the refresh button. We've worked at getting some audio sponsorship, which will cover the gas $ of making 5 trips a year out to Bonneville. With the fun of having a new, more reliable, system to operated from the Landracing.com trailer, we feel that may be easier for next year, despite the hammered economy in general.
Ever hopeful. Really, it's my wife. If you go to the archived Sunday audio, at the very start, you can hear my better half start the show with a two part harmony including a carousel with drum solo on my head . . . No, really. SHE would like have the babysitters for our disabled son covered while I'm gone, etc., and by the way, the sound of "What's in if for me" seems to echo through my home office at the mention of Bonneville. Gee, she usually gets a spa day when I return. And, my motto, largely ignored is: A man needs a hobby to keep him out of trouble.
It's like a reality show around here. I've half a bike stashed in the attic and garden shed, with some wheels and such under the workbench in the garage. By the way, I think I'll sell my original Buell RR1000 bodywork, with an extra one-off carbon fiber tank that will never change shape with age or odd fuels, an M1R fork set, a couple of polished Marzochi wheels, then start a streamliner, maybe a sidecar streamliner.
And, If I get out for The Shootout, I'll promise the system will give us all the Sun, the Moon, and several Stars. Just gotta sneak out the driveway and call in my location.
