Car handles better then ever! Salt is great, people are SO NICE!
Getting the pipes strapped with some wire and running early!

Jonny - The Healey team had that same issue three years ago. Glad to hear it's handling well, and I love the new paint!

Max, clarity is pretty good considering how you're putting this broadcast together.

We're at the start line now for a bit of that fun.  Nothing yet from Ellen in re: run logs.

The lines are sure slow-moving for this and that reason.  A couple of 'puter glitches, a hold while the ambulance worked on a crew member that suffered from some heat issues, and so on.  It's nothing that doesn't happen at every event - but it's still a pain in the neck having to wait so long.  Ah, yes -- remember when folks wanted to race at WoS to avoid the long lines at SpeedWeek?  And now -- it's the opposite.

Don Nuss #485 A/FS Ford-engined liner ran a 266 last mile just now on a 274 record.  We were ready to watch and listen to him leave when Steve Walters lit off the engine in his B/CGALT Ford Torino -- dang thing's so loud that we couldn't hear the liner.  Nice lope to the idle on Wa's car, though

So on that note I've plugged in the battery charger here and we're going wandering.  C U Later.  Max, you could call Nancy now -- but since we're at the line you should expect to hear some background noise.
