Bub bike is on the Salt, but that's about it right now. It looks like they'll start the run at the Zero, not the 1/2 as yesterday. The reasoning then was 'cause the first half-mile was bumpy. Maybe they dragged the course overnight and now they'll be able to use the extra geography for more run-up speed.
The Ack bike was being buttoned up when we were leaving here last night -- which means, I guess, that show - and - tell is over for this event. They had a fine position -- at the entrance to the pits hard by registration. I expect more people saw that one bike - than any other two-wheeler out here. Nice show -- and nice folks, always ready to invite us (and other passers-by) in for a drink, even a sandwich.
Runs are proceeding here, by the way. Not much wind at the long start of the int'l course -- where we are -- but a half-mile up the road there appears to be about 3-6 mph from the right-rear quarter (unh, that'd be about ESE). That's a tailwind, in otherwords.
I hope you all got to see the run logs from yesterday. That part of the meet has been running pretty well for us -- I hope for you, too.
