Hello out there in LSR land.
I cannot believe a year has passed since I last connected with y'all - we got to NZ in May and have been flat out ever since. The summer has been, well, absent really; the most rainfall since records began (did the dinosaurs keep records?).
Everything arrived safely - we have a rental property with a workshop and a garage but have been distracted with house design, council submissions, engineering (of foundations) and to overlap a few hours with EST I start work at 5am. We just finished the house foundations yesterday (concrete pour etc) so it finally feels like we can stop pouring money into a hole in the ground.
I have a Morris Minor pickup as my parts getter here (just small parts obviously).
My engine man had heart surgery which had me very worried but is back in the saddle and I am getting inspired and have started messing with fibreglass. However, after 12 months it feels like I am working on a project someone else abandoned and I am trying to figure it out - what idiot thought that was a good idea, oh, yes, there he is ..... on the other side of that mirror.
I will try and catch up with news as I am way behind - did I see a certain kiwi built liner had emerged in the middle of no-where USA (mentioned on SS's 3.0 liner build pages)?
