John was doing my job for me, since I've become quite unreliable in being able to get online!!  What he wrote was a quote from me.

Thanks John for picking up my slack!!  So, everybody remembers it's chat line tonight, right? !!   

If I can figure out the proper sweet talk for my computer (it changes every few minutes), I'll be there tonight too, I hope, I think, well...maybe! I do have the java script now.....only took 2 hours to get it!! (I'm on a roll!!)  Anyway, hope to see y'all there!!
Oh yes, the time for Australia is 11 am AEST,tomorrow....see I read the comments!!

Oh.  Okay, thanks, Lynda.  Nancy and I leave Skandia for Wendover about three and a half weeks from now.  We'll look forward to seeing you (and everyone else) really soon.  Will you have internet/email at Land's End?

Lynda, you might get your internet service the way we do -- with a cellphone internet USB card.  It plugs into the 'puter and uses the cellphone system to provide the signal.  We use it in the house, on the Salt, even in the vehicle as we're riding down the road.  I've told others about it, like Freud -- and some already have it.  Jon Amo had the system when I bought the site -- that's how I learned about it.

No excuses!!  Walk the dog early, eat early...or later, come as you are, no need to get all gussied up for us, we're downhome folk!!

2 more weeks and I'm ON THE SALT!!!

OK I will try this again.  6:15 in Idaho MT (daylight savings time).  One quick question, just where is the "quiet zone" at the bend.  Or is this just something to mess up old guys that need sleep?

  The "quiet zone" as Ray the Rat calls it is up the hill about a half mile from the bend in the road.  It's also known as the old dump site.  Not to many people camp up there and so it is quieter at nite.  One thing you gotta watch out for tho is the ground up there is very silty and if it gets wet, your stuck unless you have 4 wheel drive.  Also, some people camped near me last year had a rattle snake come into their camp!         Crow
