We're sitting here, at our favorite dry lake, Northwest of Bviile. Been raining and wind blowing like hell. Hope it clears off
in the next couple days. Hard to find a good track to set up our course.

My Kilo Klub dues are paid until Jan 1, 2014 and I plan to

stay here at the club until then.

Hi Freud.  I hope you are OK in Washington.  Its pretty wet and windy down here.  Hopefully this storm will not be blown by the jet stream over to Bonneville.

Hey Wayno you are exaggerating....it is only 852 miles  8-).  I was in the Navy very close to there and it might not actually quit raining there until maybe next June   :-), still beautiful country,

But still no firm "Go/No Go" decission.  Senior says we'll see how it looks on Wednesday afternoon.  Currently in the 70's and 20-25mph winds.
So the wind is good, but as we all know, the wind is bad.
Hmmmm....  Well, we're still not unloaded from last meet.

here is another tool to view the water loading of the salt flats, one of our DLRA guys put us onto this to check the Aussie salt and be able to see historical data back to 1999
next pic of Bonneville should be due soon

Hmmmm..... is right.  I'd planned to make another recon visit Thursday, since the weather in the SLC area is supposed to be terrible (snow) but I'll wait to see what happens when Mike Sr. makes his check on Wednesday before I decide on that...or maybe go on Wednesday to get some photos as Mike does his checking.

I saw where the gubment shutdown is affecting national parks.... Has anybody heard if it will have any effect on an event that takes place on BLM land?
