 Im leaving for Vegas to work on our car and motorcycle auction I will see if I can get some more info or stories from my Dad.

DR. Rock----I am with you  I don't think one would need to even run the same two tire sizes, ratios, or even the same kind of engs.or trans---why did we scare everyone off----

What where the clutch setups on the Motion 1? where they direct drive units? this is a very interesting twin engine setup

Thanks for the info

Its sad that the streamliner was distroyed and the driver killed after all the work that went into it

I was on the salt in 1970.After seeing some of the pic's here,JMO,it seems to me that the the "dumb bell" effect tied toghether with a flimsy frame was a wreck waiting to happen.Front eng.should be behind front axle. and stiffer frame to tie it together.What do I know?Sorry it had to happen.

I feel like a much stiffer frame was part of helped the RATICAL to "STOP" searching and wandering his way down the track.

Strange design

The front engine out in front of the axle as you say its is the first design I have seen like that. They may have rushed the project to quick before getting all the design flaws worked out. It least its not forgoten and there effort can be seen in this thread in the pictures and personal info you guy's posted. I found it very interesting to know more about Motion 1
