 :? I wonder.......was it standard operating procedure to do a burnout on the back engine and then push start the front engine? or is the front engine not running for a reason?

 If you look at the picture I posted on the previous page, It appears that the reyes photo was taken on the same run. look at the Pontiac in the background. I spoke with my dad about the procedure for running the car at the drags and he couldnt remember
if they ran on 1 motor or both, looks like WFO on both motors to me :-D
 my dad didnt think they ran the car at the drags a whole lot. maybe Fremont,Lodi and Sac.

D-ROCK,I too stood beside the car when it was running in 1969.If I remember correctly,the front engine blewup,so another was(borrowed?) and replaced it.The home movies I took it had pieces of yarn taped to the body to show airflow while the late Alex Tremulis took pics.Speaking of records(recordings),I've still got a 33 1/3 rpm RIVERSIDE RECORDS "BONNEVILLE 1960" album.
