so I thought I'd give it a try with plenty of head room for the cage. It is channelled 3"..

.......and then turn up at the MG International do with it. That'd get the tweeds all blustering into their pipes! 8-)

Being channeled also screws up your class/category, as you now have a different floorpan profile.  I still think you could fit into an altered class, they are allowed a lot of aero type modifications.  Your car may not be directly designed for altered, but it might fit those rules?  I do not have the rule book in fornt of me, but you could check.

I like that line about the " tweeds all blustering into their pipes", sometimes the humor and words do not translate so well between UK and US, but I get that one just fine!

I had a feeling that channeling wouldn't help either :|

Oh well, it was never designed for a class run because I started building before Boneville became a reality. After chatting with my buddy Steve, who helps me out when I'm racing, we've decided on a long term plan to build his dream race car....a drop tank racer. 8-).

This one will be built with rule books firmly in hand. :-D

I'm glad that comment about the tweeds translated ok, sometimes the differences in our language can be tricky with the variations.

But if you really want to make it interesting, let's get a few of our Aussie and Kiwi friends involved in the conversation.
