Did Jimmy fail to deploy the parachute,or hit the brakes, when he spun ?
Did he almost mow down the people doing timing ?
Did he stop on the course and wait for the helicopter to pick him up ?

When he spun, was he required to "strip down" the car where it stopped ?

I guess the answer is "a Secret" .

It wasnt the spin that brought all the attention to Jo .. it was what happened, or the lack of what happened after the spin.

2,000' backwards at speed with no attempt to stop has got to be a questionable act

I'll just say he got PLENTY of SCTA attention.

Car needs a little work, the driver wasn't the issue.

I don't think so, many roadsters blown and unblown have spun and been backwards in the lights several at well over 200mph at the lakes and bonneville. :-D

Tell her it is not true , most girls are better race drivers than many boys. :-D

Helloo boys ,  thanks for the props for girls drivers!!  In a man's (boys) sport we actually have to be better drivers or we sometimes ( and sometimes for good reasons) get scrutinized a little closer than our male  counterparts.  Race on!!! fat or skinny ... i mean tires of course...

If you ask me it is not a gender thing but a driver thing! Drivers have the responsibility of helping making sure no one else gets hurt. Since I learned something from the Coddington spin I bet she did to.

Mrs. t-salt,

Just to add a bit more info as you continue your history lessons on LSR you'll find that Wendy has won the El Mirage points Championship in the past & Tannis is the first women to enter the 300 mph chapter of the Bonneville 200 mph club. There are many other shinning examples.
Some feel women make better drivers because they are doing something that they my not know alot about so they "listen" very well.
