A list of unfaired motorcycles/riders over 200 MPH
« on: May 05, 2015, 04:02:35 PM »
Hello folks, I've put together a list of what I think is all the riders that have been over 200 on an unfaired motorcycle at any land speed venue. I'm sure there are many folks that I've missed. I'm hoping this list with pre-2000 riders highlighted will stir people's memories and bring forth some missing members. thanks, Dean

Edit: Updated to 73 riders  .

Got it, thanks Ronnie. I'm guessing that both riders are on Hayabusas?

All the runs are impressive, but my personal favorite is Ted Gansberger - that must have been one mean 750cc Honda!!  Does anyone have any info or pictures?

Thanks,
Dean

First time I did it was in Jun of 1999 in A/BG on my turbo GSXR1100 speed was 200.343mph
I agree the most impressive of the bunch is Ted Gansberger on Bickford's bike.

200 naked on anything other than a Hayabusa almost deserves it's own list - that must have been a fast bike, love to see pics. My first time over 200 was on a naked turbo ZX10R. -Dean

I'll always like those bikes. Pretty tough engines.

I'm waiting on some clarifications, but I have a list of 61 now, found some more in the AMA records.

best,
Dean
