The pictures were great Woody, lots of cool Studebakers and roadsters but none of the Herbert car. The first picture is Ermie Immerso's car from 1962, a four engined job called the Thunderbird. Just happens it was also number 333. Attached are pics of the car I'm looking for. Thanks for any help.

See, Woody?  I told you that I thought it'd be worthwhile to mess around with all of those files.  I got another batch of DVDs from Doug Grieve when Nancy and I stopped at his and Barb's house on our way home.  I haven't looked at them yet, and Doug told me that they're video -- 8mm movie saved to the DVD - so I don't know if there's anything that'd be worth saving for the Gallery.  Maybe we could put the entire video in the gallery.  I'll check 'em out and letcha know.

Maybe somebody can do "frame capture" of specific cars on the videos. Not sure it's possible. But hay, NSA can do it.

Yeah -- it's 626. But I bet it's aged better in the 60 years since 1954 than 628.

(Yes, I know there's a '55 Ford in the shot.  But they came out in the fall of '54 and in those days they went straight to Colton.)

Notice there's no E.T. light.  The SCTA was only timing MPH.

Remember way back when this topic started?  The poster was searching for colors of the 333 'liner.  Just the other day I got an email with a photo attached -- showing the car.  And this morning when i went to put it here - I can't find the danged thing.  I might have it on the other computer, at the store, and will check there when I visit work again.  but, in the meantime, if you're the fellow that sent it to me - how 'bout sending it again and I'll get it up there?  Thanks.

Hey, hay, HAY!  Bill Marcel saw my post and sent this photo to me (again).  Here 'tis:

Speedrelic, is this your post: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/need-bonneville-photo-help.926894/#post-10450511

Looks like 333 had quite some history to it! If you find something be sure to post it here. There are probably some guys thumbing through some old Hot Rods and pix now!

Woody, I went to the Hamb site, didn't learn much but when I scrolled down I accidently bought (?) a Ukranian woman who claims she cheats for men over 40.
  I gotta get new glasses. I hope she doesn't have a hairy chest................... :-P :-P :-P

Hi Woody, yes that was my post on the HAMB also. Didn't really get much response. I think part of the problem is there was more than one car number 333. The Herrmann-Swain-Walker car (also sometimes referred to as a Chet Herbert car) that ran in 1958 was two toned and ran as #333. That's what started this discussion. That car was later acquired by Ermie Immerso and ran in 1959 in bare aluminum as #333 also, the picture you recently posted. This same car was run again by Ermie Immerso in 1961 as the 'Dean Van Lines Special' with no number. It was white with a dark color on the cockpit area. This is another car I would like a color photo of but I figured one at a time was all you guys could handle (ha,ha). I appreciate your help with this.
