Returned home from the Test & Tune last night. Plenty of warm weather as well as wind. However since it was not a record event most of the competitors chose to keep running regardless of the wind conditions.
There were no real high speed runs made as each entrant was there to test, tune, practice and experiment. The Target 550 made four runs and Marlo seemed happy with the results, especially the fact that the car did not have any mechanical failures. The Knappster made two runs. Timmy Burkdoll qualified for an A license. Several others got in the required license runs. Vehicles were made to run better and many electrical and mechanical issues sorted out.
I will leave it up to any competitors to let you know any more specifics.
The USFRA expresses thanks to those that participated and helped. We had some benefactors that stepped up to help cover the costs of hosting the event. A special thanks to those that did, as you know who you are, but wish to remain anonymous.
