The good news: since we had inspected all the vehicles which were registered, I returned to Boise this morning. The bad news: no pictures, sorry.
Even better news: salt appeared to be very good (dry, hard, and smooth) when I drove down it after the Driver's Meeting on Friday. It was a bit rougher starting at the 5-1/2, but not bad. They dragged it out to the 8-1/2. We were advised that this course is the same one that will be this year's Long Course for Speedweek.
I can tell you that there were no high-speed runs on Friday - they actually were testing and tuning! I spoke with Jim Knapp. Jim Burkdoll (youngest son, Tim Burkdoll, driving), and Korey Bligh (Target 550 Crew Chief) before I left this morning and all were pleased with their shakedown runs. The 711 roadster sounded great, too!
