New bike build diary. 1032 bike has pretty much found it's limits (174.343 mph) and i cannot complain so it is being semi retired (if we don't get the new bike done, we have this one). New bike/motor will be purpose built, with the specific purpose of going faster. New top end arrived from Idaho (Hammer Performance). CNC ported heads, beehive springs, big valves, corrected cylinder head chambers all designed for a little higher rev limit. Heavy duty rod assembly (S&S) (rods, center pin, bearings, races) is here as well. I need to pull the motor out of bike no. 2 and start the teardown, see if there are as many "surprises" on the inside as there were on the outside, lets hope not. Chassis design to commence possibly next weekend to get the bike fully into A Bike configuration. The one picture has a set of stock valves to compare sizes with the new valves.
