Some of the people that are driving the faster cars had a problem with all the flags and the lack of a black line wich we have all become accustomed to. If you have some thoughts on this, you should be bringing them up at your club meetings. If enough drivers can win a vote at the club meetings then the reps can take it to the reps meeting and maybe come up with a cost effective way of giving back a reference point that is agreeable to the drivers of these cars and bikes, the BLM, and scta/bni.

What about a Red line made up of Red food coloring..cheap, non toxic and safe for the environment..?

Even if we had a light rain on the salt surface we could still see the line..?

it was suggested to use food coloring

 it was also suggested to use liquid charcoal ( black)..

all of which is biodegradable and such.

maybe these things should be investigated once again.

  Just collect all the BS from bench racing and there would be an endless supply

   Blue's idea about the dye and GPS system should be seriously considered. See reply #7.

   I also like the idea of different color I/4  mile markers [keep the regular mile markers as usual] in addition to a black or blue line.

We had a few instances of racers making the wrong turn off the course(I think 2)...my vote, black line down the center, blue line on turn out side, red line on the "don't even try it side" for each course... Wouldn't that be a good idea Fred? Talk is cheep....we should start a donation fund on here and start collecting.... It might take a few years  for enough dough but who's in a hurry?

Question? I was always told the problem with having a black line down the center of the track is, that it is like a magnet and everyone stays in the center of the track. Which in turn tears up the track, and that was before we had 500 entries.  How do we solve that problem?
