Wendover Hotel Date ?

I know alot of you probably know But as a Newbies I have to ask When do most hotels in wendover start taking Reservation for speedweek? already having Salt with drawls :-P

Jan 1st I believe if so on jan 2nd they are full.

If they open reservations at midnight on Jan 1, they are full within 10 minutes. Not sure how they do that!

Last year the Nugget opened reservation long before the end of the year. :-o   Americas Best Value Inn (formally the Super 8 Motel) takes reservations for the following year as you check out after speed week. I don't know if any others do the same. Tony

The Nugget has a new manager . . . Tammy is gone. They adopted the same policy as everyone else . . . no reservations until January 1st.

Whilst i was checking out off Motel 6 after BUB`s, the manager there told me January 1 thay would start taking resevations for next years events.

Any information on which ones have the inflated, over priced "non-refundable" reservation fee? Really hate to pay an extra $600 or so just because of problems or the meet is canceled. (no R word).
