What a Year
« on: October 12, 2009, 08:17:18 AM »
What a year we had. We got to run 3 meets, set 5 records, and didnt break any thing. My thanks to my partner Larry Forstall for his support, both moral, financial, and technical. Thanks to Larry and Bob Carpenter for helping me put together an awesome engine package. My regular crew, crew chief Kirby Beaty, Bobby Stalbird, and Bob Lyssy, not only did they help build the bike but shared travel and motel expenses. And when none of my regular crew could make WF Blake from Black Rose Racing answered my call for help and came over from Elko and helped me all week. Thanks guys for helping me have such a great year.

Sorry Deb, I plead exhaustion, I was on the road. I'm home finally, I gotta go kiss my dogs and pet my wife. :-D

Fred,
Congratulations on an impressive season and you earned every bit of that last fuel record.
Thanks for letting me have one of the most enjoyable and rewarding weeks of my life. Give me a shout if you ever need a hand I'll be there in a heartbeat.

Also want to congratulate Pat Womak on his Red hat. His excitement, enthusiasm and humility was an inspiration. And to John Dobbs for letting Pat take first crack at it.
