This is Mike Charlton . We are the guys with the jet powered landspeed bike.We are doing a promotion where for $40.00 dollars you can join are team.You will recieve a shirt,have your name put on the bike and will be kept posted on the testing and when we will be going to Bville.Go to are website  www.mikecharlton.com   Thanks in advance.

Mike,

Good luck with your build and since you mention it, can you show that monster leaning over 20 degrees and not touch the sides?

It looks like even a few degrees and it would, have you ever been on the salt to see the varying surfaces, bumps, dips, loose salt you will have to deal with when you are testing?

Put a sidecar on it..  :wink:

john   sidecar or not i dont think he will be running at bonneville---and i dont think it will lean over 20°    willie buchta

I think your sidecar could lean over 20º -- but I don't think you want to be on it if it does.

REMEMBER.....People, the 20 degree for M/C liners
is only a FIM Rule.........One can still race for AMA records, if it does NOT lean 20 degrees................

My bike will lean 15º. Sheri's bike will lean 10º. For a sidecar rig any degrees is very dangerous. But its like the 15º steering rule it doesnt make much sense to me

Don't know for sure.......but I don't think the jet-bike is legal for the BUB....However, contact Delvene to make certain..........................................
 
The "jet-bike" is in a real quandry....not legal for
SCTA/BNI........possible not legal for the BUB......
possible not legal for AMA.......Legal for private
time at Bonneville for FIM (if it really does meet the 20 degrees rule)..................WHAT I would do is mount a sidecar run for FIM Record at private time at Bonneville....If it gets any speed at all a NEW World "jet-Sidecar" record........the only draw-back would be all the dollars it would take to do this.........................................................................
