I think he designed Fred Larsen's 'liner and also Vesco's streamliner bike.

He also drove his 300 SL on the salt, followed closely by his wife in her 300 SL.

Lotta class there.

mostly, he raced the 300 on the salt, often coming from other racing venues

Roberta drove her gullwing on the salt, don't think she raced it as I remember.

They will be missed, but I heard a rumour of yet another LSR venue, and the organizer needed an aero guy...
