This is a great time to meet others in the sport from the Pacific Northwest and others from further away. If you can make it I highly recommend it. Food is always great, company even greater,

Leave it to the good Doctor -- he said he'd announce the speaker "this" weekend.  He didn't specify which weekend is "this", though, so he's not tardy.  Whatever -- all in due time.  Don't let the name of the speaker be your reason for going/not going -- it's a fun weekend no matter who speaks Saturday evening, what with the social time, the hanging around the lobby and the pool and the coffee shop and the various racers' rooms all dang weekend.

We leave Marquette four weeks from tomorrow morning.  We're looking forward to the Reunion.

This seems like THE WEEKEND to me and the wait was worthwhile.

The speaker for B'ville NW Reunion 2008 is RICK VESCO.
His presentation will start with a 7 - 8 minute DVD tribute to his late brother, Don.
I don't know whether to put a time limit on him or not.
For the people that say I should shorten up on the time alotted to the speaker,
I think I may have a separate room with reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies and
they can go watch the video.

There is a wealth of history and accomplishment stored in this man. I plan to
let him release some of that for us to hear.

The first post in this thread gives all the details about the banquet.
Get your registrations in now.

Vince, the neat part about it is that you will probably have an opportunity to ask him a question.
If it doesn't happen while he is speaking, there will be time after his presentation is over, at the bar or in someones room. The sessions after we leave the banquet room are legend.
If there is anyone you want to introduce to LSR, bring them. They will be one on one with the legends of racing.
Like scooters OR airplanes? What about chatting with Mike Akatiff?

Bring your buddies. It's a unique gathering.

Worth the wait for me to announce the speaker.......I sure as hell hope so.

Brian........it's only 27F here tonite, but Shilo pays the heating bill. It's HOT there.

We also have drinks that you can ignite and they burn with an almost invisible flame.

Kinda like an alky fueled car on the salt.

I hope u are driving when u come down so Richard and Ed are able to talk when they arrive.

I never worry about Jim Socci. He has ice water in his veins. It's a requirement to deal
with Thomason and Tradeup.

I never fear for you....you can overpower them.

There will be a DVD that was professionally assembled about Don Vesco. It
will be right at the start of Rick's talk.
Then which would you rather hear, a summary of the Vesco families experiences
on the Salt or a major discussion of Turbinator?

Just post a reply if you are interested in helping format Rick's talk.
