Ready to rock!
« on: August 05, 2007, 03:01:09 PM »
yep, it took two weeks this time to get ready to go, almost day and night.
Alote like last year, exept we are done a week earlyer.
Running two cars is alote of work.
I had to build a complet new c/f engine from scratch and freshen the d/bstr
engine, dyno test and then get them into the cars, hooked up and fired..
This morning we put both cars into the new transporter, I`m glad they fit.
Thanks to all the people who are trying to make this happen out on the salt.
Hopefully we will get to run, but if not , I know it won`t be for a lack of
volenteers working day and night to give us somthing to run on.
Lets hope we get to go, and maybe we should make this the take a volenteer
worker to dinner week. Or maybe we can even show our boardmembers and
tech guys and gals a little respect at the track and on this board.

I agree with you Pro. Lets all show the officials and volunteers how much we appreciate their efforts and don't forget to drop a nice donation at the Save the Salt booth. Good luck and have fun all. Vince

There is not a greater bunch of armature racers on this planet. The volunteers never get enough recognition and save the salt is a worthy platform to help us continue on in our quest for personal best. A big thank you is in order for all the SCTA folks who continue to do so much in order that we can have a few weeks doing what we all like so much.
Sounds like you have a very full plate most of the year. Great you can work in the time to get things ready, Good Luck and stay safe,
