Want to help?
« on: July 24, 2007, 09:36:31 AM »
This just in from Mike Waters:

"If your going to be at SpeedWeek on Friday morning Aug.10th here's your chance to help a bit.
We need volunteers to act as spotters helping us put down our black course lines. It will require about 2-3 hours of your time. We will meet at the staring line at 8 am on the 10th and get briefed.
If your interested drop Mike Waters, our Bonneville Workers Coordinator, a line at mrwaters@roadrunner.com"

I know Keith Turk, Jon Wenneberg and others have helped with this task in the past. I know you guys have stated that you want to be a part of the process, this is your chance.

Thanks,
DW

Dan, if I make it there by then I will be glad to help.  May I once again suggest a sign up chalk board at the registraton trailer.  Thanks again for all you and the other volunteers do.  Every one who ever bitch's about how things are run should have to "volunteer" before they are let out of jail............

It seems to work for EM quite well.

the stewards are required to work  1/2 day each day. need binoculars, a good working CB radio, water and a vehicle. Contact Larry Burford on the salt. You can try his home phone as well 760-868-2075 and he will give you all of the info.
