Goodyear LSR tires available!

I have two Goodyear Land Speed Eagles (28x4.5x15) on back order at Summit Racing. Does anyone Know if these tires will be available by Aug. Info appreciated,

Summit?... why ya buyin' from them? cant be for the free shipping that always cost ya $9...call Shelby in Vegas... they had the 23's in stock i ordered last week.

Jason At Carol Shelby can't say if he would be able to get tires this month. Got mixed up with Summit cuz that was the only place at the time that I new of that sold them. Summit told me they would ship in two weeks. That was 3 or 4 months ago. Thanks for any help!
I have heard that there are tires curing in Akron (Jason at Shelby) I am not sure if this is true. At this point I am way higher on the list at summit than I would be at Shelby (Summit has ten 28" tall tires on order total) would be helpful to know if any dealers are going to get tires in time. Had a 3-way conference call between Summit, Goodyear and I where I was told Goodyear had a strike and the LSR tires would be run last as they try to catch up he said hopefully late this year. 
Had rims built to fit the 28x4.5x15" tires does anyone have any suggestions for a tire rated to 250 mph that being asked this is not an area where I like to compromise.

The GoodYear 300 MPH tires are made and are available in Akron.
We received the tires we ordered thru Competetion Tire in Brooklyn Mi.  When I last spoke with Mike he had just arranged delivery.  That was about 2 weeks ago.

Carol Shelby said they couldn't help, Competition tire sent me to Carter Maxwell who said, maybe they will call me on Tues. to let me know. Gone for the weekend will check this thread on Sunday.

Do you know if the tires were made this year or are they from the batch that was made before? Do you know the date of manufacture?
