Big Tube
« on: July 09, 2007, 04:00:48 PM »
Have any of you received your "Big Tube" yet? I usually receive mine way before this [July 9] but I didn't want to bug the good folks at the SCTA. Thanks, Tom

Not in Marquette, Michigan.  Nancy has sewed the other various patches on my newest jacket -- but the '07 BNI patch isn't here yet.  Soon, we hope, sooooon.

1700+ big tubes were mailed today.  It would be interesting to see who, and where, got them, and when.  (Gramma -- is that grammar?)

Got me, I thought he was talking about a big screen TV set. Must be a friend of Jack's and confusing us with trick words.

Once again your membership in SCTA via SDRC has come through for you some time ago and not gone unnoticed by the ruler of rule books.

Stan, you need to ask Nancy -- Oh, wait a minnit, you said "Toobs".

Nah, the local postal service hasn't sen fit to try to crush the 3' tube into my 2' mailbox yet.  Maybe today. . .

Northern CA, got mine Thursday the 12th.  Cool pin and poster!  (The patch and sticker were nice too, but then they don't change too much from year to year - at least for the short time I've been involved.)

I do have to say that the artwork on the pins has been pretty darn cool from year to year.  Must not be easy to come up with something new/different every year!

Nothing (from SCTA/BNI) at the post office today, either.  Maybe tomorrow.

jack
i dont know how the SDRC plays into your post... i know this year that an SCTA membership entitles you to the BNI without additional membership but you dont get the poster, rule book, bla, bla, bla..... So I paid for the additional BNI membership just so i can get the extra swag.... i'm pretty sure the BNI will send out the rest of the stuff...... i think there pretty good about follow through.
