Steve Moody's AMS shop flow tested injectors and most were bad. New injectors at Post Office to be picked up.

Closed today, They used to deliver parcels to my community mailbox which has large boxes for parcels but now I have to drive 20 miles to pick up.

Troy took gas tank out and cleaned it and fuel lines, a few particles but nothing filter would not have trapped although we had a 40-micron filter which we found out should be a 10-micron.

Some paint touch up were tank sits up and reinstall tank and new injectors next weekend.

fingers crossed that new injectors fix problem. If not single finger: laugh:

installed new injectors and filter. No start up? No spark, called our buddy Donny Cummins and Holly rep and he troubleshot Troy to get spark.

Fired up ran great but a little rich.

Ready for May El Mirage and will run A blown fuel altered instead of gas altered but still on gas.

. . . is more better a little rich than it is a little lean.

Water in headers was found to be a small hole in exhaust ports due to porting. Added 3 bottles of Bars Leak engine sealant, problem solved.

We ran engine to get hot enough to set final valve lash running up to 3000+  and when checking computer read out driver side 20 to 23 AFR. Plugs looked fouled which is normal after idle so ordered new oxygen sensors.

Been having problems with white growth on the magnesium valve covers which in the past could be solved with WD40 but not anymore so their being powder coated. A little tough to do on mag.

Valve covers powder coated blue, sort of matches hose fittings. Left side oxygen sensor white, right-side black, sprayed with brake clean and seamed to help as air fuel ratios back to normal.

New sensors back ordered to April 24.
