Anyone remember a Studebaker V8 powered lakester?
« on: May 07, 2007, 04:53:35 PM »
Greetings, All,

Was at the Barber Motorcycle Museum outside Birmingham, AL a while back.  BTW, this is a must-see for any gearhead.  They have the world's largest collection of motorcycles - more than all the other cycle museums in the world combined.

One of the few non-motorcycle exhibits was a rear-engined (aren't they all?) lakester powered by a seemingly stock Studebaker V8.  It was a clean, well-engineered car, but no information was provided with the exhibit and the museum curator was not available.

Anyone ever remember seeing it?

No, but I can see A Packard Powered Vega any time I feel like going into the garage.
