My name is Nicholas Searle. I am a staff writer with Australian production company Becker Entertainment.
Our company is developing a television documentary about 'backyard' tinkerers - men
and women who design and build their own speed-vehicles from scratch.
One such backyard tinkerer of whom you may be aware was the New Zealand legend Burt Munro; the story of Burt and his Indian Scout will be one of the elements of this documentary.
You might be (or know of) an up-and-coming young person creating incredible cars or bikes in your garage at home.
You might be an older, established tinkerer who has spent a lifetime on the scene, perfecting your vehicle.

passion for speed and a story to tell.
