Glad to see you're all still here. My mission of the last 8-3/4 years is over. My Sandy died after 60 years together; 2 weeks ago. One of the last things she said to me was "go have fun with your cars after I'm gone." I'm 82 now; but still feel pretty good. About 5 years ago I bought the skin and bones of Doug King's Golddigger lakester from his son, Brian. Took it apart and let it collect dust in the corner of my shop. About all I did with it since was some planning on how to redo the roll cage and bought a plasma cutter.
So the project starts. First get rid of the clutter in the shop. Already a very nice champ quick change with early Ford side bell mounts found me and and handily devoured that check we got from the government last month.
A lot has happened in the Landspeed racing world while I've been busy with more important things. So please bear with me if I sound like a newby sometimes. Ed Weldon, Los Gatos (mountains) CA.
