M2 and EGT Heat

I have always run "straight" VP M1 Methanol outta the drum,

Put the recommended dose of VP M2 (upper cylinder lube) in, and now seeing much higher EGT readings,

Has anyone else experienced this with the addition of upper cylinder lubes ?
