502 BBC cam suggestions and other hop up

I have a stock ZZ502 chevy motor alum head model.  I would like to get more HP out of it. I am looking for suggestions. Cam, intake carb etc. It has all stock parts on it right now with an 850 holly.

I was thinking of a cam and an intake. I am limited in the headers I use.

I have the timing at 34 total advance.
currently the plugs read very nice. Pehaps a bit lean.

Any suggestions?

how much more power???---the heads are most likely the limiting factor...

John can give you the best info as he has done this for a while and builds killer engines.
In general the best comparason I have heard concerning cam design is to think of what is used in off-shore boat racing..On it for a lot longer than the drags and longevity is a must...Good luck
