Well, well -- I got a release in the inbox a little while ago -- but can't make it large enough for all to read.  So - here's a link to the Team Vesco website where you can see a whole munch of information about the Turbinator - right on the front page.

And I sure hope that they're still open-trailering the 'liner (?).

It will be on a open trailer. The body mold changes are about 75% complete, It's a major change and very time consuming and in cold weather fiberglass work sucks. Keep looking for up dates.

It is not just the cold weather, fiberglass work always sucks

A real contender in my book, with 4500 real and reliable horse power from the turbine engine, this could certainly be the first wheel driven car over 500.

Awesome!

This makes me think we might get a remake of sorts of the motorcycle streamliner battle, but for 500mph?   :-D

Guess what body arrived in Utah just the other day?  No, not Nancy's, you dreamers.

Glen reports that the first fitting has been done, and now they've got some trimming and fitting to do.  This body (by Kent Riches at Airtech, by the way) is a little longer than the original.  Sure looks fast just sitting there, doesn't it?

Earlier this year Glen sent me a PM telling me that the Turbinator was going to run at Speed Week. I didn't know it was going to have a "make-over." I never saw it run, so I put it on my list to watch-see. Being from Florida, that tail fin reminds me of a shark fin, which to me is scary. . .  well, I mean SCARY FAST looking. Now I have to decide, do I watch it launch from the starting line or go down to the 4 mile marker and squint my old eyes to enjoy the fly by. Decisions, decisions.

From my one time on the salt  , my vote would have to be at the 4.  :-D
