One reason I asked, is that I've sometimes heard talk about altering the front of a vehicle, with the intent to reduce its frontal area.

Jack, if the size of the front of the vehicle  is  the frontal area problem, I think it would work......... there is also the idea of "streamlining the frontal area", which I don't think is the same problem.... but doing that as well is another thing that I think would also work.

Jack, we did that with the lakester, put on smaller front tires, reduced the frontal area... went faster... go figure
