SCTA Website

Someone who is involved with the SCTA website needs to look at this page. Looks like there needs to be some corrections made, and classes added.

Tom,

If you do a search on the site for the same topic you will find a post that, in general, says the record section is being thourghly proof read and that I would inform all when it is ready for rebirth.

Will it match the 200 MPH club website?

No, because the club wesite does not show records under 200 MPH and there are minimums which do not not BNI records. Allison will fix the site after she gets the mother thing under control.

Dan,

I believe you, but here is what I found when I went to Bonneville Records.

Bonneville Land Speed Records

2011 Certified Car Records are now online and ready to view

These records are a reflection of the current Southern California Timing Association
Rule Book and BNI Data Base.

Also on the page I referenced there are no Rear Engine Roadster Records published.

Then this is posted for a category "Gas Rear Engine Modified Roadster - /BFR" and it should read Blown Fuel Roadster-/BFR.

I am only pointing this out to eliminate any confusion people may have when viewing the SCTA site for Records.

I noticed that too since that is the class I will be running in. I went to that page, searched all of the 2011 SW results and the 2 club site to determine what the actual records and minimums are.

Well now, that is different. They were going to tell me when the corrected? records were up. I'll check into it. Brian, look in the rulebook and on the 2 club website. If you have any questions please contact me.

Dan there must have been an error in loading as there are no records for blown fuel streamliners, unblown gas modified roadsters or blown fuel roadsters listed.

Thanks Dan. You might suggest to who ever is working on the website, that they double check and make sure what they posted actually is posted. Kind of like proof reading. Just a suggestion.

Sure make the 2-Club minimums look more than fair in some instances.  Better hurry before they change their minds.
