My intent was/is to let you all see the workings and work on the car.  Ron Main sends these to me and I, in order, post them for all to see.

Gee, what ELSE can I ask for compensation? :-)

Ha Ha Ha, yes I would ask for compensation, you are giving him ink.   :-D

In all seriousness Slim, if he is going to send you pictures of something to post make sure he sends some information with the pictures so everyone knows what is going on in the pictures. Otherwise people start to assume what is going on and we all know what that makes. Photo's are deceptive and that is why the need for descriptions of what people are looking at. Just trying to keep the speculation to a minimum.

Thanks for the reply,

Tom G.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

I didn't see this posted yet. Great video of Speed Demon:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoriCmQD5zY

It was cool being lined up next to them last year:

Only at Bonneville will you see a 165 mph 4 banger Lincoln MkViii lined up 2,200hp 430 mph streamliner. Only on the salt.

I'm pretty sure there's another thread running for the Speed Demon, but 'til I find it (you're welcome to remind me where it is) -- here's the link to the latest Ron Kirby video. on the car:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoriCmQD5zY&feature=youtu.be

It's the same the Hot rod Lincoln posted -- just a different address.  Turn up the sound. . .

thanks for moving my post.....  I knew there was a thread here I should have put it in.

I'm curious if someone who knows the car can tell me what oil filter they are running on that thing? It looks like maybe it's a Baldwin race filter they are running with the dry sump, is that the case? If so what part number is it, or are they running a screen filter in the system somewhere?

From the looks of it it looks like a single Baldwin race filter, I'd just like to know.

Thanks,

Jon
