Great stuff, Joe.  I'd hoped to be there this evening, but didn't make it.  I'll be there early in the ayem, tho.  Thanks for posting the photos.

There had to be a dozen inspectors in tech but it went slow ... the extreme heat contributed to it I am sure.  The inspections were very thorough. The nephews bike took 35 minutes and it passed with only a single suggestion for future events. There were well engineered bikes that I saw for the first time. The Perewitz bike which I tech inspected in Maine was complete sharp paint job on new Air Tech Charlie Toy fairings. Dave is looking for his daughter to go 200 on it ... it went 164 at Loring but did have some teething issues first time out. He feels he has it all sorted out and it sure looks ready. I saw a few familiar faces ... Leslie Porterfield was in tech line. Valerie Thompson in registration line.  Dennis Manning was not happy about the International course. He said it has lumps on the big end and the salt is so dry that the drag justs skips over them. He was hoping for some light rain to soften the crust. It did drizzle late in the afternoon but we were in Wendover already so I dont know if any fell on the course. Dennis said that the mountain course is perfect as is.

Good morning race fans ... drivers meeting is just underway ... Ken Salaint is doing the intros ... great sound system I can hear it loud and clear and I am in the gas line with the bike. Rex Svaboda just started the riders instructions.   Course is adequate, i5 mt took a lot work to get it to this level. International course is 9 miles. Mountain course is 5 miles.  He is explaining the timing traps locations.

Anybody seen Jeff Boyle (BUB 7 Electrician) and his son Corbin with their black #1313 BSA out there yet? They missed Tech Inspection yesterday by a whisper and were going to get it done this AM.

Just announced that the International course is going to start from 2-1/2 mile because of the surface in the first 2 miles ... it is timed from 5-6 sooooo it is not really a long course.

Jason Omer with his innovative Buell XB9 ... a lot of engineering in this one

We are in the next group to go out ... running a timing test bike right now ... there are 10 down at start for each course already.  Great radio signal from the 89.7 FM broadcast ... just waiting for the first launch.
