When I was there for Speed Week I thought the sign read - Leave your 401K here.

busy morning ... registration line is slow and the temperatures are high .. what is really sharp is that people hand off umbrellas to people further down the line to keep the sun off them when they are through with registration. No way the original owner could be found at the end ... I had to pay the "Pain in the ass penalty"  (PITAP) to Linnea because I didnt have everything filled out ... which wasnt too costly only a mango shaved ice was the fine ... the turbo bike is through tech... air temperature is at least a 100 degrees and still climbing.

I wish I was there this year but instead I get to have spinal surgery due to a car wreck.  Next year is another story.  I would have just run what ya brung this year and then went to the AHRMA races at Miller next weekend.  Now I have a whole year to plan and prepare.  What to build?  Thinking small displacement a 125/175 Can Am or a 250 Triumph/BSA Unit Single.  Hope everybody has a safe week out there, can't wait to see th pictures and read the stories and results.

Don Roberts, President of white beard racing, is here with his shovel head. He did a lot of work on the clutch and transmission and this is going to be his meet.
