Fueling rumors is not helpful to those accused, but the truth will come out eventually. I was at the starting line with Leslie on Wednesday. She was still riding.

It would be very easy to fill some gas tanks through the vent holes with the main seal unbroken. If it is a concern, why is fuel not tested for additives in impound?

The SCTA loves many but trusts few.  All gas is tested in impound.  Shame BUB doesn't do that.  Maybe their records would be more accepted.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

I agree theres no class compliance checking at Bubs. I saw bikes in impound that were clearly illegal in their class like with an aftermarket pipe and air cleaner on a production bike and streamlining on a naked class bike. The only thing they ever check is motor size. I don't think the tech guys understand the class rules so they don't even bother checking for it. In fact I've seen them give out flat out wrong info when asked a classing question. They also don't enforce the rule about upclassing theres lots of cherry picking softer records. I like the idea of an all bike event and admire Bubs for putting it on but the tech is really lacking in this area and that makes the records not worth much. Drew should fix it.

Ok, ok, you have several acusations here mr. VeeTwin  - Can you back them up with photo or other documentation to prove your acusations ?  Why did you not voice those concerns at impound and place a valid protest ?  Where is the "flat out wrong info when asked" and who asked it ?  Enough blowviating here mr. VeeTwin - provide the names and proof of your acusations or go home and try again next year.
Drew and all the volunteers at BUB have put forward a sincere effort to provide a respectable motorcycle only event with AMA and FIM sanctioning. If you feel that you have been slighted, I sugest you take it up with AMA Ken, or FIM Charlie, and not just sling acusations around like a school yard kid that did not get what he wanted, or expected. Provide the evidence -
I for one thank the entire BUB crew for their efforts to provide this sanctioned event. If you are that unhappy with it - - don't blame Drew or any of the volunteers who are doing their best to make it happen. If you can do a better job - Volunteer next year for the tec crew - Come on now - step up - don't just flap jaw - - -
A big time thanks to Drew - Delvene - Lenea - Denis - and all the BUB Volunteers for a great Internationaly known event.
Just my not so  humble opinion, take it or leave it.

After reading through the BUB rules, I do have a question/observation.  Is this correct?

Unlike SCTA and ECTA, BUB considers the exhaust as part of the frame.  A Production motorcycle in SCTA would be considered a P-P in BUB (e.g. My Production Busa would be a 1350 P-P). However, adding an aftermarket exhaust would only reclassify the frame, hence the 1350 MPS-P designation.  Both reiterations would be "considered" Production in BUB, while ECTA considers them a world apart.  No?

I think the BUB AMA  rules are copies of older SCTA rules and a pipe would put you in MPS-G.

Max Lambky's liner is lowered off the trailer.  I don't know how they did on the last run.
