Glen, you're right...but that 12 mph is the lowest forecast for the day...Wunderground shows wind from 12 to 19 tomorrow.  Many people have already folded their tents and gone...I'm gonna be among 'em.  I've got plenty to do between now and WoS.

I really need to get updated on BUB rules... Flying eyeball looks a tad past the front edge of the rim

Bill
Rules state:
No further than 2" forward of the leading edge of the front tire.
Cheers,
Baron

Thanks,
Can you point me in the dirrection of where you are seeing/getting the rules from.  Can you also make it easy for me to find it in the rules... like SCTA Rule for this is 7G.11 paragraph 3

Thanks, Bill

Bill,
It's in AMA Supplemental Regulations for LSR, Chapter 8, 8A. Partial Streamlining, Paragraph 1.

http://www.speedtrialsbybub.com/2011_event/AMABUBSR2011.pdf

Unfortunately the current rules for Partial streamlining are different for SCTA, ECTA, and BUB.  What a mess!  Pick your event and then make a new fairing.

Fred,   The FIM rules and records can be found on the same page as the AMA rules on the BUB website.  Chris

Wind laid down a lot right now ... hope for a better day tomorrow ... we have to tear down but are hoping for an early run and if it is fast a return run ... then Uncle Joe earns his keep and wrenches the bike apart

Bakker Motorsports sidecar 1194, SC BG 1350, set a new record of 158 against an old record of 143, very pleased. Also put in a down run of 162 this morning before the wind kicked up. We will go on the trailer tomorrow happy campers. Driver Larry Coleman/ Passenger Warren Ryan. Thanks to Barnett Clutches and all of our sponsors. Beeb a great event and super salt, thanks to Denis and crew.

Joe, if Dan is still there, ask him for the torque specs for when you put that head back on. The manual precedure is hard to follow, but Dan has a good way to go. That should measure out at 3.050" X 3.125" = 748cc

Congrats Larry C!!  That is one heck of a jump in a record from 143 up to 158.  Wow!  Nice looking rig.  I looked at it in the pits.  Again, congratulations.
